QumulusAI (Nasdaq: QMLS), a neocloud infrastructure provider purpose-built for the AI computing era, announced a five-year colocation agreement for a contracted 0.5 MW of data center capacity in Columbia, South Carolina, the company’s first site in the state. QumulusAI expects service to begin Dec. 21, 2026.
QumulusAI is funding the upfront costs of the colocation agreement from cash generated by capacity already in production.
“Our model is to find pockets of power that already exist, take them in the sizes our customers need, and bring them online fast,” said Michael Maniscalco, CEO of QumulusAI. “That is the part of this business we have gotten good at, and this is another proof point.”
