Keeping the Human in AI: How Infinity Marketing Is Using Technology to Strengthen Relationships

Posted

In Greenville, people have grown to understand that great marketing isn’t just about what you publish. It’s about what people feel, what they remember, and whether your team shows up with competence, dedication, and care.

Bo Rogers, CEO/president of Infinity Marketing in Greenville, South Carolina, shares his perspective connecting marketing with technology. “We exist to drive growth through relationships that empower people, and our values show up in how we lead, how we partner, and how we deliver performance,” Rogers said.

As CEO/president, Rogers explained that he has seen the marketing landscape change faster than ever with technology. “Every great AI tool is what everyone’s talking about, and we are integrating it. However, we believe our differentiator is the relationships we’ve developed with our clients. That’s our superpower.”

From his background in hospitality and in service industries, he has learned one key thing: the “product” is only half the experience. The rest is based on trust — being responsive, correcting mistakes, setting expectations, and most importantly — making people feel heard.

Today, the same philosophy applies to Infinity Marketing and guides its AI integration journey.

Rogers explained that “over the past 12-18 months, the biggest shift we’ve seen in the AI conversations isn’t whether AI can help. It’s how quickly businesses want to use it.” Executives want the “sexy” thing. Teams are anxious. All of them are pondering the same questions. “Are we doing enough with AI? Are we hiring the right people fast enough? Will AI replace humans?”

As a CEO, Rogers had to redefine what “doing AI” means.

AI should assist humans, not replace them. “It should remove manual friction so our people can spend more energy on strategy, discovery, and relationship building — things that AI can’t genuinely replicate.”

Clients don’t want performance dashboards. They want a partner who understands their business, their people, and their goals.

For Infinity Marketing, it has used company-wide adoption. AI is being used across its organization in closed-model environments for brainstorming, meetings, client strategy, and internal operations.

10+ AI tools have been adopted, spanning:

  • LLM-based brainstorming and drafting support

  • AI notetakers for more accurate meeting capture

  • Workflow automation platforms to reduce repetitive tasks

  • Additional emerging technologies as they prove useful in real workflows.

For the long-term AI roadmap, Rogers clarifies, “We are building toward a more connected, AI-supported model that helps our teams move faster, make smarter decisions, and create stronger value for our clients.”

Adopting the tools wasn’t real work. The real work has been helping the team manage those tools well.

“We’ve invested in ongoing training, centered around continuous 1:1 adoption sessions, team-specific enabling tools, (and) company-wide trainings. AI was integrated into how we work ...(it's) not just talk about AI,” Rogers shared.

How are they keeping AI boundaries or limitations in place?

Rogers explained that they have guidelines or guardrails as well as best practices in place, so that teams are clear on what is expected and appropriate for AI use. The difference between AI-assisted and AI-risky is often not the technology itself, but the habits around it.

Once the foundation was in place, they introduced 25+ AI functions that support workflows, like:

  • Reporting and performance analytics

  • Sales enablement and enablement messaging

  • Content development and productivity

  • Client Strategy support or internal planning.

“The goal isn’t to make everyone a prompt engineer, but to free our teams to focus on the human parts of the job: calibration, judgment, and relationships,” Rogers emphasized.

Rogers’ takeaway is that AI should elevate service, and not dilute relationships or quality. The common fear in AI rollouts is that it’ll replace human jobs. Infinity Marketing addresses this concern directly in its internal messaging. Its commitment is to use AI to equip and empower people while keeping their superpower intact.

That’s the key to turning AI from a trend into a durable competitive advantage in a growing market. To learn more about Infinity Marketing and services provided, view its website at infinitymkt.com
