Bricks & Minifigs to Open at Powdersville Plaza

Aston today announced that Bricks & Minifigs will open a new location at Powdersville Plaza, bringing its LEGO buy-sell-trade retail concept to the shopping center. Located at 3518 Highway 153, the 2,100-square-foot store will offer new and used LEGO sets, minifigures and bulk bricks, along with a dedicated party room, free build nights and community events designed to bring families and LEGO enthusiasts together.

Owned and operated by local franchisees Mike Ingram, Heather Ingram and Anthony Tran, the Powdersville store marks the ownership group's first Bricks & Minifigs location and will join two existing independently owned stores serving the Greenville market.

Mike, a Powdersville resident, longtime Boy Scout leader and Navy veteran, first discovered Bricks & Minifigs at a local LEGO convention hosted by the Upstate LEGO Users Group. Inspired by the opportunity to combine his love of LEGO with his passion for serving the community, he and his partners decided to bring the concept to Powdersville.

"I've always wanted to own a business, and once I discovered Bricks & Minifigs, it felt like a natural fit," said Mike Ingram, co-owner. "We wanted to create a place where families can celebrate birthdays, LEGO fans can connect, and kids have another place to build, create and spend time together right here in Powdersville."

In addition to buying, selling and trading LEGO products, the store will host birthday parties, free build nights where guests can bring their own LEGO creations to build alongside fellow LEGO enthusiasts, and other events throughout the year, creating a welcoming gathering place for the local community.

"The transformation of Powdersville Plaza is about more than updating the property—it's about creating a destination that better serves the growing Powdersville community," said Barnes Connell, managing director of Aston. "Bricks & Minifigs is exactly the type of business we want to attract because it offers families a unique experience that extends beyond shopping. Between its retail concept, birthday parties and community programming, it will become another reason for people to spend time at the plaza."

Bricks & Minifigs plans to open this fall, joining a growing mix of businesses at Powdersville Plaza as Aston continues the shopping center's ongoing redevelopment.

The project includes exterior renovations, updated storefronts, enhanced landscaping, refreshed common areas and other site improvements designed to modernize the center and better serve the growing Powdersville community. Renovations are expected to continue through 2027.
