Our Place on 17, a historic church being carefully restored and reimagined as a refined event venue, has opened its doors at 2129 N Highway 17, Mount Pleasant, SC. The venue welcomed its first guests in May and began hosting private events in June, offering the Charleston area a new setting for weddings, celebrations, corporate events, and community gatherings.
"This building has always been a place where people come together," said Jennifer Poole, director of Sales of Our Place on 17 and president of Pleasant Holdings. "We wanted to honor that history and create something the whole community could be part of, whether that means a wedding, a nonprofit event, or a Tuesday night gathering someone will remember for years."

Whether the occasion is a wedding, a corporate gathering, a nonprofit event, or a ticketed community experience, Our Place on 17 is designed to welcome it. An open catering policy, bar service through approved vendors, live music options, and full ADA accessibility make the space as flexible as the moments it is built to hold. We are now booking celebrations through 2028.
