Looking Back at 25 Years of 50 Fastest Growing Companies

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the 50 Fastest Growing Companies in South Carolina celebration, and over the past quarter-century, hundreds of companies have been showcased.

The program began as 25 Fastest Growing Companies and was expanded to 50 in 2021.

Since its inception, the awards program has recognized more than 400 companies, and this year, we’ve created a Hall of Fame for the businesses that have been honored the most.

Here are some numbers and facts about the program and the South Carolina-headquartered companies that have been honored.

·       Company with the most appearances: Clear Touch Interactive, which has made the list eight times between 2018 and 2025. Its highest rank was No. 3.

·       Total number of companies to make the list: 404

·       Companies that have appeared only once: 229, or 56.7 percent of the total

·       Number of repeat companies: 28

·       Percentage of companies making the list five or more times: 6.9 percent
