Countybank Foundation Contributes to Self Regional Healthcare Foundation

Countybank Foundation, established in 1971 and representing Countybank and Greenwood Capital, recently donated $15,000 to the Self Regional Healthcare Foundation in support of its Equation for Progress Campaign.

The campaign is focused on advancing healthcare services and expanding access to care throughout the Lakelands.

Countybank Foundation's contribution will support the establishment of a comprehensive breast center for women. The center is expected to enhance breast cancer screening and diagnostic services through new technology and specialized care resources, helping reduce the time from initial screening to diagnosis and treatment.

Self Regional Healthcare Foundation expressed appreciation for Countybank Foundation's support and emphasized the important role community partnerships play in advancing healthcare across the Lakelands.

“Community partnerships like the one we share with the Countybank Foundation make transformational projects possible,” said Ken Coffey, executive director of the Self Regional Healthcare Foundation. “We are grateful for their generous investment in the Equation for Progress Campaign and for their continued commitment to improving healthcare across the Lakelands. Their support will help bring to life a comprehensive breast center that provides women with seamless, coordinated care from diagnosis through treatment, while allowing them to remain close to home.”

Countybank and Greenwood Capital representatives also shared their support for Self Regional's initiative and its positive impact on the community.

“This contribution reflects Countybank Foundation's ongoing commitment to strengthening the health and well-being of the communities it serves. We’re proud to be a long-term supporter of Self Regional's vision to enhance healthcare services in our community,” said David Tompkins, Commercial Banking manager at Countybank. “We value having an independent, not-for-profit healthcare system locally and are thankful for all the doctors, nurses, and team members who serve us so well."

“This foundation plays a vital role in ensuring access to quality healthcare and advancing services that benefit individuals and families across the Lakelands," said John Cooper, senior private Client Advisor at Greenwood Capital. "As a past board chair and advocate for the Self Regional Healthcare Foundation, I’ve personally seen the impact that charitable giving can have on patient care, innovation, and community health.”
