I'm a senior partner at Frederick Fox, a national executive search and contract staffing firm with an office here in Greenville. Over the past several years, I've helped grow the firm from an early-stage venture into a multi-vertical practice spanning finance, accounting, technology, sales, and operations, supported by a distributed network of 70+ recruiters. My focus has always been simple: connecting companies with the leaders who genuinely move their organizations forward, and helping talented professionals find roles where they can do their best work. My long-term goal is to change how the recruiting industry operates by evangelizing the Frederick Fox model and helping scale it into a nationally recognized firm. Giving back, to me, means investing in the community that has invested in me. Success is measured by the positive impact you leave on people in your everyday life.
Favorite Quote and Why: “Don't wish it was easier, wish you were better. Don't wish for less problems, wish for more skills. Don't wish for less challenge, wish for more wisdom.” ― Jim Rohn. This resonates with me because it emphasizes that we are responsible for who we become and what we leave behind. If we don't take ownership of our thoughts and actions, we will feel helpless to the world's winds.
Definition of a Successful Leader: A leader is someone who makes the people around them more capable than they were. They are someone who builds something people choose to be part of, rather than are required to be part of. They don't just rise themselves; they raise the tide so everyone around them rises too.
Advice to 18-Year-Old Self: Spend less time on process and more time on people.
